As two film buffs who love to talk, we at Armbar Studios have been planning out a new film podcast for a very long time. We wanted a hook and months ago came up with a germ of an idea – a podcast in “arcs”, groups of episodes focused on a single subject whether that be an actor, a crew member, a director, or even a concept. After some plotting and some scheming, we’re happy to announce that we have launched a pilot episode that you can listen to here! The podcast will soon be available on the podcast app of your choice, but you can also put the RSS feed in most places while you wait. It works great in PocketCasts!

The pilot episode covers See No Evil, a 2006 slasher film starring the pro wrestling character Kane. While it’s a solo episode (or a self-contained arc, as it were), it offers a taste of what we hope to accomplish with the podcast, providing history and entertainment as we break down the context of the film’s release and the studio’s involvement in it before talking about our personal experiences with the movie.

Our first full arc of the podcast is coming up next, and we’ve nailed down the subject. It’s none other than legendary comedian Chris Farley, as we dig deep into Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, Beverly Hills Ninja, and Almost Heroes. Keep an eye on this website and on the podcast feed!
